- Clock-in: Your GPS coordinates are recorded at the moment you clock in and compared against the project's geofence to verify on-site presence.
- Location breadcrumbs: While you are clocked in, we periodically collect GPS coordinates to track your route and verify continued presence at the work site. These breadcrumbs are stored and visible to project administrators.
- Geofence enforcement: While you are clocked in, we continuously monitor your location in the background. If a project has automatic clock-out enabled, you may be automatically clocked out if you leave the designated work-site boundary.
- Photo metadata: Photographs uploaded as evidence may contain embedded GPS coordinates (EXIF data), which we extract and store alongside the image for verification purposes.
Location data is used solely for workforce management, payroll verification, and project compliance purposes. It is accessible to your employer or project administrator and is retained for the duration of the associated project and payroll records. You will be prompted to grant location permission before these features are activated, and you may revoke that permission at any time through your device settings, though doing so will disable location-dependent features.
